Career Goal
I
am looking for a role as the leader of a creative, problem-solving, fun &
enthusiastic team that uses principles of e-operations, e-business, digital
business design and e-commerce to radically transform an existing business.
Results of this transformation will include increased customer satisfaction,
higher revenues, lower cost and increased margins, along with lower employee
turnover and higher morale. Ideally this role will challenge me and encourage me
to grow personally and develop new skills. It should draw on my leadership,
management, and problem-solving skills, and be a people-oriented role (both
internally and externally).
Career Highlights
Rapidly
developed a new global digital business and technology design for Cable
& Wireless (called Bluefield, based in the USA) and deployed the first
four releases from November 1999 to February 2001. The initial release was
constructed, tested,
and launched in 11 weeks.

teams; negotiation of development scope with 70-person technical team;
liaison with existing C&W resources in multiple geographies worldwide;
being the media spokesperson for the new e-operations entity; reporting
directly to the global Senior VP for Bluefield; motivating the business
and technical teams; winning the buy-in and support of the C&W product
teams, and solving multiple problems simultaneously around how to
implement their products through our channel.
We achieved our initial launch in 11 weeks from start of analysis &
design, and have had major functional releases every 12 weeks since then. |
