Menno got a bit peckish - maybe from nerves? Steve, his best man, went to the local pub to pick up some sandwiches. Vikki helps wrap them in napkins The beautiful ruined clositer of Ballintubber Abbey dates back to 1216 and provided a spectacular backdrop to the ceremony Menno & Steve wait for the bride to arrive The bridesmaids preceed Mairead down the aisle - look closely and you can see the beautiful bride framed in the doorway
The big moment! Mairead arrives. Menno looks pensive, Steve looks relieved, and Greg just grins his head off! Mairead is walked down the aisle by her brother, Dominic The Abbey was pure and austere, which heightened the poignancy of the ceremony Vikki and Josie - both almost as beautiful as the bride herself
The central Christ Candle, lit by an individual candle for each of Mairead and Menno. The Bridal Party gathers for a photo in the background Mairead signs the register, surrounded by the bridesmaids, bridegrooms and of course, Menno! These two singers filled the Abbey with their haunting, spine-tingling renditions of beautiful, classic hymns The interior of the Abbey and the guests
Sammy-Jo delicately adjusts the strap on her shoe Dominic, Greg and Steve stand guard to make sure Menno doesn't flee at the last moment A beautiful quartet of bridesmaids, including Eilish and Ann, Mairead's two sisters Mairead & Menno walk back up the aisle to leave the church as husband and wife
The drivers - need I say more? The bridal party arrives at Knockranny House Hotel for the reception
