The Story

Our last weekend in London - July 29 2000 - before we relocated to the US was perfectly timed - we attended the wedding of Cormac and Claire. It was fantastic! The bride looked georgeous, the groom scrubbed up very nicely, and the entire weekend was a tremendous experience. The wedding was held at a beautiful church, opposite the rolling grounds and golf course of Brockett Hall, where the reception was held. We also stayed overnight there (surrounded by our umpteen suitcases and packages, ready for our flight to Washington DC). Brockett Hall has a room called the Elizabeth Room - partly because of the reign of Queen Elizabeth I, but also because she used to stay there (huh! fancy that).
